According to the law enacted on April 4, 2015, workers without a Vocational Qualification Certificate in mandatory scopes are prohibited from working on factory premises.
As one of the leading companies in the Machine and Crane Manufacturing Sector, SEKİZLİ MACHINE AND CRANE INC. has not shirked its duty in this regard and has committed to the Manufacturer Cooperation Project of the Vocational Qualifications Authority.
Employees and companies that apply to our Cooperation Project will be entitled to receive an internationally recognized Vocational Qualification Certificate if they pass the theoretical and practical exams conducted by the authorized certification body, ARES CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING SERVICES LTD. CO. In this scope, our employees and factories will not be required to pay any application fee.
WHAT IS THE REQUIREMENT FOR THE VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATE?
The Law on Occupational Health and Safety and the Law on Amendments to Some Laws and Decrees was accepted by the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly on April 4, 2015, and became law with the number 6645. This law also made significant changes to the Vocational Qualifications Authority Law No. 5544.
One of the most important changes is undoubtedly the mandatory certification for professions closely related to the working and business world.
According to the law: "In hazardous and very hazardous jobs, the standard of which is published by the Vocational Qualifications Authority and specified in the notifications issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, those who do not possess a Vocational Qualification Certificate according to the principles regulated in the Vocational Qualifications Authority Law cannot be employed twelve months after the publication date of the notifications."
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF THE VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATE FOR EMPLOYEES?
The main advantage of having a certificate for employees is that it proves the individual's competence in the relevant profession. This will distinguish skilled workers from unskilled workers in the workplace, and working conditions will be reorganized accordingly.
As it is forbidden to employ workers without a certificate, new job opportunities will arise for certified workers. Additionally, the Europass internationally valid certificate will allow certified employees to find work opportunities abroad. Certificate holders will provide significant cost advantages to their employers through premium incentives, which will be a preference in hiring and positively impact working conditions. For currently employed workers, the employer's premium share payment is included in this incentive for up to 12 months.
Especially for the first employment of certified professionals, special applications exist in SGK premiums, with incentives lasting up to 54 months.
HOW TO OBTAIN A VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATE WITHIN THE PROJECT SCOPE?
Our masters can obtain their Vocational Qualification Certificates under the following qualifications within the scope of the SEKİZLİ MACHINE AND CRANE INC. Cooperation Project.
The exam fees of our masters who succeed within the project scope will be covered by the Unemployment Insurance Fund (State Incentive).
Masters who want to obtain a Vocational Qualification Certificate in these professions can start their process by making their pre-application through the link below. Once your pre-application is received, the authorized ARES CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING SERVICES LTD. CO. will contact you to provide more detailed information and complete your application process. After your registration is completed, the exam date and time will be communicated to you. Candidates who succeed in the theoretical and performance-based exams conducted by the authorized certification body, ARES CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING SERVICES LTD. CO., according to national qualifications, will receive the MYK Vocational Qualification Certificate and a portable wallet-sized MYK Vocational Qualification ID Card issued by the MYK.
HOW ARE EXAM ANNOUNCEMENTS AND DATES COMMUNICATED?
Candidates who apply for a certificate will be notified of the exam date and time via phone call and text message. Successful candidates will receive their certificates issued by the MYK, delivered by the authorized body against a signature.
WHAT MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT ARE REQUIRED FOR THE EXAM?
Candidates must bring their identification documents (ID card, driver's license, or passport) to the exam. All other necessary tools and documents for the exam will be available at the exam centers.
